Opportunities For Ministry

At Pittsburgh Christian Fellowship, there are many areas in which to serve. Each individual has giftings and talents from the Lord which can and should be used to reach the lost, serve others, and build up the Body of Christ. We want you to prayerfully consider serving in one of the areas listed below.

We want you and need you!

Outreach

bulletSoul Winning Teams:

The Soul Winning Team goes street witnessing on Friday nights leading others to a decision of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. During open air crusades, the team members talk to people in the crowd, share the Gospel, hand out gospel tracks, and follow up on referrals. Top of Page

bulletPuppets Ministry:

Be a part of this unique ministry. We present the Gospel with puppets in a powerful way. Puppets have a way of penetrating barriers and ministering to hearts of all children in our Noah's Ark Childrens Church.

bulletHome Visitation Team:

Here people visit homes to help connect new visitors to our church family and to answer questions regarding Pittsburgh Christian Fellowship's beliefs or activities. We will venture into surrounding communities delivering gifts and the grace of God to each home. Top of Page

bulletBus Ministry:

Drivers are needed to provide transportation for children, youth, and others who find it difficult to attend services due to transportation. Bus captains can assist people on and off the bus, and monitor individuals for safety. Lending a hand can be as easy as making a phone call to confirm a pick up!

Family

bulletYouth Leader Team Members:

Youth Leader Team Members assist the Director of Youth Ministries in developing our youth into committed followers of Jesus Christ. In order to attract and capture youth for Jesus Christ, a youth leader must be able to develop new and exciting activities. As a leader, you will have the opportunity to minister to the needs, cares, and concerns of today's youth. We want to stir them up to be on fire for Jesus Christ! and teach them how to be an evangelistic force in our community! Top of Page

bulletChildren's Teachers:

Teachers receive extensive training in Children's Ministry. After careful screening, training, and classroom observation, our teachers are empowered to impact today's children with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Teaching the basics of the Christian faith is our priority.Top of Page

bulletChildren's Helpers:

Children's helpers aid in the learning process. After careful screening, our helpers use courtesy and respect for others to set an example for the children. These helpers help keep peace in the classroom and share love, kindness, and the goodness of God with the children while supporting the teacher. Top of Page

bulletNursery:

This ministry is for people who love babies! Open on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, the nursery is for newborn babies and children up to 3 years old. Our Nursery workers provide a safe and joyful experience for both the parent and child by creating an atmosphere of love and care. Knowing that their children are being well cared for, mothers can relax and enjoy the adult services.
